Arriving at Allegiant stadium 3 1/2 hours before kickoff, McEntire showed up in style in a puffy, gray faux fur coat, clasping the hand of her partner, Rex Linn.
Singing the national anthem alongside flag-bearing service-members and jet-flying over Allegiant Stadium, McEntire created a highly patriotic atmosphere.
The pregame acts exhibit a wide variety. Singer Post Malone performed “America the Beautiful” playing a guitar as his musical abilities. The singer Andra Day performed the song “Lift Every Voice and Sing” with deep soul, sometimes called the Black anthem. For every song, there was an American Sign Language performance featuring actor Daniel Durant (famous from the film “CODA”) signing the national anthem. Anjel Piñero, who is an actress, model, and dancer, performed “America the Beautiful,” while Shaheem Sanchez, who is an actor and choreographer, signed “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
