Janki Bodiwala, a well-known Gujarati film industry actor, is originally from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where she was born to Bharat and Kashmira Bodiwala. Being raised alongside her brother Dhrupad Bodiwala, she completed her education at M K Secondary & Higher Secondary School in Ahmedabad before obtaining a degree in BDS from the Goenka Research Institute of Dental Science, Gandhinagar.
Career
The start of her acting career commenced with the Gujarati film “Chhello Divas” directed by Krishnadev Yagnik as her debut. Hit the cinema on November 20, 2015, across 231 screens around the world. Filmmakers were rewarded at the end with critical appreciation and commercial success.
Going forward, Bodiwala impressed everybody with her talent in different movies like “O! Pandemonium (2017), Tamburo (2017) and Daud Pakad (2017). She ensured her presence through other projects such as “Chhutti Jashe Chhakka” (2018), “Tari Maate Once More” (2018), and “Bau Na Vichaar” (2019). In particular, she acted with Krishnadev Yagnik in “Naadi Dosh” (2022) sharing screen space with Yash Soni.
Bodiwala rose to unprecedented heights of fame when she featured in “Vash”, the Gujarati horror blockbuster hit of 2023.
